Thank you so much for this. I just recently worked on 2 pianos, from 1912 and one from 1897. It seems that the felt used was wool and moths would devour it. Piano tuners would just rip the mechanism out of the piano which would leave the third pedal useless. It's a rather simple mechanism and this video was a huge help in bringing these pianos back to what they were like long ago.
YIKES! to do that on a satin finished piano. I hope Lucy Urlacher, registered piano technician polished/buffed out all the scratches she caused on this poor piano!
