M+ Cinema's recurring series 'Rediscoveries' brings back Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay's stunning debut Ratcatcher (1999) in a new 4K restoration and famed screenwriter Wai Ka-fai's genre-bending Peace Hotel (1995). This season’s ‘Afterimage’ demonstrates the power of moving image in challenging and shaping historical memory with works by Chen Chieh-Jen, Trinh T. Minh-ha, and Shohei Imamura.
