Lucas’ Heart Repaired

Lucas was born with a heart defect; there was a hole between the two chambers of his heart. As a result, Lucas relied on a feeding tube and was not growing and developing as he should be; his heart and lungs were working significantly harder than normal. The experts at Children’s Hospital of Michigan took over care for Lucas, who is now thriving and will reach his full potential.
