I totally agree with you about owning a house in the location where you are first. I think a lot of people starting off thinking they won’t be here for too long and before you know it years go by and they suddenly realise they’ve lost a lot of money paying someone else mortgage through renting. And the house they build back home isn’t serving them economically. Ofcourse am not saying don’t build house back home but be wise and think about where you currently live first if you are not here for short time like a student going back after studying

Hi. A cousin asked for money to build their house. They'd bought the land. But when he retired, they bought a house cash whilst building the other house. It's mere griddiness and abusing those abroad.

I completely like this video and particularly the building a house part, I would say just buy a house rather than build then rent it out cause it’s true that you won’t be living in that house all the time since you live in the abroad.Then continue to save to get a house abroad

How do we join the support group..am a new immigrant
I have noticed that West Africans do not understand racism in its entirety. They brush it off as if it doesn't exist. I am not even saying this as a bad thing, just an observation. I guess where you grew up does have an effect on how you perceive things. I had the worst racism scenario just 2 months ago, I was crying the whole night, and I am in my country, but hey it's South Africa, it happens sometimes. Sometimes people are not playing victim, they are just hurt by the unfair treatment they get because of their skin color.
