How To Grow 100% Organic Pineapples At Home In Containers

We show you how to grow pineapples at home in containers in today's garden video on my garden channel. Find organic pineapples that appear to be yellow orange. Those are the ripe ones and tend to have more roots beneath their leaves so they will grow faster.
Step 1 - twist off the top of the pineapple.
Step 2 - peel off the leaves to look for roots growing.
Step 3 - if no roots place the top in water.
Step 4 - if roots place the top in a container of soil
Step 5 - Care for your pineapple plant as a tropical house plant
***Your pineapple plant should produce fruit within 2 years. Sometimes up to 3 years if your growing season is short or poor growing conditions.
Pineapples are not hard to grow indoors. A successfully rooted pineapple plant will start to grow within weeks, provided it gets plenty of warmth and adequate moisture.
How to Grow Pineapple Indoors At Home
Sunlight - Pineapples prefer full sun, so give them plenty of light 6 to 8 hours a day. When choosing where to place your pineapple in your home, opt for a sunny window sill that provides plenty of direct sunlight. This will help boost growth and keeping optimal growing conditions for a healthy pineapple.
