Dude literally lied about being with Yvonne and they thought it was morphling instead of thinking that Toast is lying. How do one become as cool as Toast?
I went to the comments just to look for someone who mentioned this.
It’s not just that, he managed to come up with that story after reporting a body that Bretman just stumbled across himself. How many people would’ve panicked, said it was Bretman and make it become a 50/50?
His ability to come up with a story that quickly which both clears him and deflects sus on Bretman is actually staggering.
All while Morphling was bugged and not working.

Genuinely surprised Toast hasn't killed someone as himself AND THEN morph as he is walking away. Make it seem like the morphling change expired right as the kill happened.
I think the problem with that is if they figure out the person he framed was innocent, then they’ll know 100% it was Toast
That doesn’t mean it will never work, just that it’s risky

That last game blew my mind. The fact that toast played both yvonnie and bretman so well completely blew my mind. Toast knew bretman was the jester, meaning that bretman would always vote for himself. Thus, in that last 1v2 meeting, toast baited bretman into voting for himself so that the votes would be tied. That is so big brain
The final voting situation was probably the most straightforward for him, because it will always favour the imposter if everyone is playing seriously.
However to get to that point and whittle down the numbers was staggeringly good play. This is the kind of thing most people would have as their big highlight game with a fancy “I DESTROYED the lobby in this 1v7 clutch!!” title...whereas Toast just casually has it as his second game towards the end of his daily video.

@@Sagacypher if you’re taking about a final 3 with a crew, imposter, jester, the imposter will always have a huge advantage because if everyone is playing correctly, the imposter literally can’t get voted out.
The jester will always vote themselves and the imposter will always skip. The only worry for the imposter is that the crewmate votes the jester, but in any other scenario the imposter would win.
Toast is so good he doesnt even need to vent or morph to win as imposter.
And his partner got voted out so early too!

Yeah the crew/imposter/jester final 3 situation will always favour the imposter if every person is playing to win, simply because the imposter still eventually wins if the voting is tied.
And he made sure to push Bretman(and even questioned if Yvonne was Jester) so he would think Toast voted for him. Once he killed Syk the game was sealed unless Yvonne gave Bret the win.
Toast kept on saying 'Its BRETwoman' so bret can vote himself as a jester and yvonie vote for toast ,so he could skip and tie a vote was amazing. Real ultra pro max legend😆
The first game in this video was hilarious but I have to say the way Toast played that last game was absolutely unbelievable.
Inventing the story about walking to a body with the “morphling” to both clear himself and place sus on Bretman, then killing the perfect people and voting correctly to make sure the Jester doesn’t win and he can kill the last crewmate. He’s an actual legend.

I think they’d been messing with some stuff
The Morphling mod, along with other mods, is under constant fine tuning. These games were recorded out of order and I know at one point morphlings could only morph into innocent people. People started using obvious morphling plays as a means to hard clear whoever the morphling morphed into, so Otto decided to change the rules so morphlings can now morph into their imposter partner.
when the morph role first came out, he couldn't, but the hafu lobby decided it wasn't too fair cuz you can hard clear people, and Otto updated it. The simplest guess is that videos from different time segments lol
It balances because no one knows who the imposter is so if imposter change in another player they will immediately know who is innocent but if imposter can morph into another imposter then no one will know who is imposter or innocent
The first game was I think last week 9r this week's game the other hand was before the mod was recoded by otto

Well it’s a lot easier to work out the imposters once voting has taken place, particularly since they voted together and Toast also didn’t really verbalise that he was choosing corpse either.
You can scream and shout about who it is after the fact, but the real skill is to be able to convince the lobby to vote with you, and nobody in the world does that better than Toast.
