Man I miss watching you stop at forks on the trail, look confused, and then take a guess that could either get you home or eaten by a bear.
Ned let you back on the internet I see! I was looking for you the other day. I think I'm going to stop telling people that ask that you are alive and well, and start telling them you are in prison for crimes against midgets.
I've told you before, being married to the world's tallest midget doesn't give you license to frame me for crimes against her kind.
Great video! Some of my favorite trails out there! An extended warranty on a Yamaha is just throwing money away!
Thanks man! Yeah, from what everyone is saying, I'll just skip it. Question for you. My buddy just picked up a 2018 Kodiak and needs tires. He's on a budget though so Zillas and Carnivores are out. Anything you recommend in 26's at the $400 range?
I just bought one myself and I I'm I figured the extended warranty was kind silly.
We’ve missed you😊
Thank you! I've missed making videos.
Haha yup we stopped there. Thanks for the shout out! Yeah I know what you mean we don’t like getting caught behind a group of SXS’s either.LOL
Don’t know much about extended warranty, I’ve never bought one.
Hell I work on all my own shit I’m sure you figured that out by the videos. LOL
Yeah floorboard guards is a good idea. I have definitely cracked mine a timer too and repaired them with rivets and sheet metal. Thanks for the ride along my friend!
Awesome! Hey did you get to check out that video I posted on the ColoradoDualSport facebook? I think you'll get a kick out of it. About the extended warranty, yeah that seems to be what everyone is saying. Hey, that saves me $500!
@@ColoradoDualSport Yeah the wife and I did get on your Facebook page didn’t see the video I was supposed watch? though. 🤔
Wow, it’s been years since I’ve washed one of your videos! I just actually moved to Colorado… hoping to get back into some dual sport riding!
Welcome back! I'm not as active as I used to be, but still try to put out at least a few videos a summer. What bike are you looking at?
@@ColoradoDualSport when I was out in the northeast I was looking for a Beta 250rr or 300rr- I want a trail bike with great suspension that won’t make me work so hard. But now that I’m out in CO, I’m considering something like a 690 or 701. Still thinking about the Betas- I realistically won’t do any long hauls on the bike. I’d rather hitch carrier it to a place to ride than ride it for hours on the pavement to get there nowadays. Lasting Dirt biking back injuries prevent me from being comfortable for long periods on the road, but trail riding keeps me moving enough that it doesn’t hurt much.
@@anotherbmwguy Keep in mind that CO riding is more about using the trails to make big loops. Don't sell yourself short on something super uncomfortable. I rode Pharretts Beta and it was like riding a brick. A very nice brick, but still I would take my DRZ with a Seat Concepts seat on it any day. Riding from Parker to Rampart was not fun, but from Rampart you can get pretty much anywhere on dirt.
Do you wish you had a quad when you lived in Colorado?
I don't actually. Bikes were way more practical out there due to being road legal and able to connect trail systems. Out East here that isn't as much of a concern as there aren't many that connect aside from HMT and quads are legal for road use in most places down there.
@@ColoradoDualSport where about dare you these days?
@@anotherbmwguy I live in Western PA now. About an hour north of Pittsburgh.
I got the extended warranty on the grizzly I just got.
I buy extended warranty's for all ATVs/UTVs i buy, regardless of history of reliability. That has included Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki, and Yamaha and paid off twice enough to save me more than I ever paid in warranties. Peace of mind just in case.
