"October grape pruning" refers to the practice of trimming or cutting back grapevines in the month of October. This is a common agricultural practice in vineyards to manage the growth of grapevines and optimize fruit production for the following year. Pruning in October can help control the vine's size, remove excess growth, and improve fruit quality. The specific techniques and timing of grape pruning may vary depending on the grape variety, climate, and local practices.
(अ) द्राक्षाची ऑक्टोबर छाटणी:
(१) द्राक्षाच्या वेलीं वरील सर्व काड्यांच्या शेंड्यांकडील सगळी पाने काढून टाकावी .
(२) ज्या काड्या हिरव्या असतील तसेच अपक्व,असतील रोगट असतील त्या सर्व काड्याना तळातून छाटून टाकावेत .
(३)ज्या काड्यांना टपोरे व फुगीर डोळे आहेत अशा काड्या सहा ते नऊ डोळ्यांपर्यंत राखून छाटा.वेगवेगळ्या अंतरावरील गाड्यांची आणि डोळ्यांची संख्या जातीप्रमाणे राखा
(४) काड्या छाटल्यानंतर उरलेल्या काडीच्या शेंड्याकडील 3-4 डोळ्यांना काळी बोर्डो पेस्ट लावा किंवा हायड्रोजन सायनामाईड वापरा. हे छाटणीनंतर ताबडतोब वापरावे. यासाठी 10 लीटर पाण्यात 200-300 मिली. हायड्रोजन सायनामाईड मिसळा व फवारणी करा.
(५) काड्यांच्या तळावर ,ओलांड्यावर, वेलीच्या खोडावर, बोर्डो पेस्ट लावा.
(६) छाटलेला सर्व काही भाग गोळा करून बागेच्या बाहेर टाकावे व नष्ट करावे
