Christmas in July started 84 years ago, as a summer camp theme. It started on July 24th and 25th in 1933, at a girls' camp called Keystone Camp in Brevard, North Carolina.

Christmas in july is basically a event where Santa's only child, Meridot claus does her stuff in her father's footsteps, just with a modern twist, She makes some good Drones that Deliver Presents on Christmas Eve in july, where the Excess toys from the previous Christmas is Delivered to various homes who needed gifts the most.
Be sure to Leave some milk & cookies too, as well as some Carrots too, although The Drones, known as DeliverBots have no need for food, they come from a DeliverBot Sleigh, which is essentially a Sleigh that is not Powered by Reindeers, but is powered by a Breakthrough, Artifical Magic, although Meridot has to ride it Manually.

Christmas In July originated during the '77 NYC Blackout. A reporter asked a looter why he was robbing an electronics store that was broken into. The looter replied, "Look around. There are no police. IT'S CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!!" The first retailer that I can remember who used that phrase was Crazy Eddie's, in their tv commercials, soon after.

The truth is.."Christmas in July" is an expression...it is NOT a holiday. The expression is used to describe something good and unexpected that happens to you any time other than Christmas. If you get unexpected money or a gift or something good happens to you, you can say you are having "Christmas in July". it is nothing more than that. Of course, retailers will use ANYTHING to try and make money. Don't be fooled by these people who try to convince you that this is more than it is. It's just an expression.

I agree with you. And by the way, it’s very annoying because isn’t Christmas shoved down our throats enough during the winter season. And yes, capitalism plays a huge part!!!

I love Christmas in July, we do Christmas tshirts and because school starts in another month we take all the school supplies and back to school clothes and wrap them. If you have to buy the stuff at least we can make it fun. We do a smaller artificial Christmas tree and a turkey dinner it’s a mini Christmas but so so much fun ❤️❤️❤️
