Sometimes there are festivals in a city and there are hundreds of additional musicians there. Sometimes there might be this specific restaurant the after work hours destination for a drink and to get some food. Maybe the piano player has an idea where to find some good musicians that evening! So what’s the difference? You can be sure all those people don’t have the time to practice together at all. You can also see there are mothers that bring their young children to a good street musician, maybe they had a couple of words in advance. So actually I don’t see your point. It is still extremely spontaneous, and I bet often completely without directives. For the real professionals this is the play of the game. Or ist your game : „Huhu, Pianist got Tempo after 2,34 sec., oh no, needed 4,7 sec. 😖

Who knows whom, did they meet a couple of hours before, did they talk about tempo in advance: It doesn't make a difference for me. I don't need the "wow they never saw each other, it is a miracle how they started the same second". Your idea is "That's all circus" but this is great music in this case. Or are you just a troll?
And we are the angels! The only cathedral i have ever desired to visit was the Basilica de San Marco, where three choral choirs were designed into it for glorious soundscape.
