Speedflying Makapu'u 2017

Speedflying Makapuu in 2017. This is my favorite flying sight of all time. With the right wind you can soar speed wings forever. This is an awesome sight, but it can be unforgiving. Have your kiting skills down and go with someone who has flown it before if you are going to send it.

Wow. Just stunning! Pardon my ignorance but how can a speedwing gain so much altitude. I thought they were meant to be for flying down a mountain!? is it the wind? In any case that was a truly beautiful flight. Congrats!
