Great job to the artist for adding those flower details, which actually have meaning on how they are placed on their bodies. Yuuna - on her mouth because she lost her taste. Tougo - on her head and lower body because she lost her memories and the ability to walk. Itsuki - on her throat because she lost her voice. Fuu - on her right eye because she lost her sight on that part Karin - basically lost everything.
OMG, I'm a YuYuYu fan too! I love Itsuki (she's the reason for my nickname) and this song as well! I cried on episode 9 too, and I remember trying to sing along to calm down. Just the thought of hearing this sweet voice for the last time was unbearable for me. I also love this art for its beauty and darkness. Fun fact: Itsuki's flower is a Solomon's seal, and in Japanese flower language it means "those who know grief" WHICH IS ALSO THE NAME OF THAT EPISODE
I'm happy to meet a fellow YuYuYu fan! It really makes me happy that even after more than 8 years, ( actually they made their 9th anniversary this week ) fans still manage to find and look for this lovely song ♡ And thank you for the Fun Fact! (≧◡≦) ♡
"This illustration is gorgeous" is what I like to say (and it still is), but after looking at it for a little bit, I realized how dark it is 💀 (if you haven't realized it yet, hint: Mankai)
@minci__ True, as a mention this, Karin didn't lose everything. She was able to physically feel (the sense of touch) and talk to Yuuna, and though she was blind and deaf, I believe she was unable to move as well. If we take consideration to Sonoko, who was unable to breathe after the 2nd Mankai, Karin got off lucky. If anything, Yuuna got it the absolute worst after she became a complete vegetable at the end.

I wished I had read this before commenting 😢, "Oh well" 🙂
@@villiamanimelover It's fine, I'm just glad someone like you is still interested to listen to "Inori no Uta" (°◡°♡)
Tougou's flowers are also around her ear, since she lost hearing in one ear in episode 6
