0:10 the guy in the redshirt is from my neighborhood. I screenshotted this and sent it to him. It’s crazy how I seen a random video with somebody I know in it in another country what are the odds?
Since they closed that area that's become a land back it sucked the vibe out of the place, when it was an endless run of illuminated outdoor bars it felt like a genuine party street (to the point it would have been beneficial to turn it into a walking street). Looks like the food offering have improved along the street especially towards the top end near Hillary 11, although looks like the large clubs at that end of the street have closed. A bit disappointed you didn't pop around the corner at villa market to the 'secret' cuban bars, but I suppose without going in there isn't anything to show but a quiet/graffiti filled alley. Are the clubs around Soi 11/4 any good, or has the good stuff pretty much migrated to Thong Lor/Ekkami?
I just looked into those hidden Cuban bars. Havana Social looks really cool, especially the entrance. Have to make sure I visit that place when back in Bangkok. Cheers.

It's hard to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road.

Hardly any bookings meant it was costing more in hosting fees than the hotel commissions. Maybe I will rekindle it in the future...
