Most of the default load-outs were made by a GM when they increased the number of load-outs players had and created default load-outs for each talent. Unlike the original default load-out each champion had, the new ones weren't a hinderance and are actually usable.
This comment is so mis-informed.
Kresnik, was a caster, and when he made the default loadouts during the shift between 2019 and 2020, not only did he have a huge restriction (He had to use a minimum of 12 cards across the 3 loadouts) which literally meant he couldn't put self sustain cards on most supports.
If you look at the default loadouts of Grover (Rampant), Seris (Soul collector), Io (Life Link), Corvus (Spreading Influence), and the default loadouts on Barik (Fortify) you will know that these loadouts did not even happen to be OK nor good even for the time.
why? because Kresnik HAD to only focus on the ONE meta talent of 2019 with its playstyle.
Cards changed and champs got reworked, using default loadouts is bad.
A loadout doesn't matter when the character has almost 0 bad cards in his arsenal. Barik has good cards overall, the speed bonus with the shield is maybe the only one that is a bit weird or unreliable to use
