If they want to have a gift shop that's cool, but I really hope they leave it natural and don't try to turn it into some art horror show like what happened to Portland. I used to spend my nights fishing the wharfs as a kid but I can't stomach the place anymore. I was born there, loved life there as a kid, totally disgusted and can't be around it anymore. "Artsy types" and their delusional detached worldviews ruined it. Too many people with money they didn't do anything to get, aside from being born to wealthy parents. And I mean WAY too many rich delusional whackos. They just don't have a clue. I get the feeling these owners fall into that category so I really hope I'm wrong. I'm just so tired of loosing my state to psychos. I don't know how much more of it I can take really. It's just endless erasure of our heritage out here.
