साहित्य |Ingredients
कणकेसाठी | For making dough
• गव्हाचे पीठ २ कप (250 ग्राम) |Wheat flour 2 cups (250gms)
• बेसन १/४ कप | Besan ¼ cup
• मीठ १ टीस्पून | Salt 1 tsp
• गरम तेलाचे मोहन १/४ कप | Hot oil ¼ cup
• पाणी गरजेनुसार | Water as req
सारण करण्यासाठी | For filling or stuffing
• पांढरे तीळ दीड कप (250 ग्राम) |White Sesame seeds 2Cup (280gms)
• शेंगदाणे १ कप (125ग्राम) | Peanuts 1 cup (125gms)
• सुके खोबरे १/२ कप (50 ग्राम) | Fry coconut ½ cup (50gms)
• बेसन १/४ कप | Besan ¼ cup
• चिरलेला गूळ 2 कप (400ग्राम) | Chopped jagggery 2cups (400gms)
साखर 1 cup | Suger 1 cup
पोळीला लावण्यासाठी तांदूळ पीठ |Rice flour
How to make tilpoli recipe | how to make khuskhushit til poli recipe -
To make dough-
• into a parat take wheat flour, besan, salt & mix well, add hot oil and mix well, rub oil to all over the flour for couple of mins
• then using normal water knead tight dough.
• apply some oil, cover and let it sit for 10 mins.
How to make filling / stuffing-
• Dry roast sesame and take them out,
• dry roast peanuts well and take them out.
• dry roast grated coconut and take them out.
• dry besan on low flame and take it out into another plate,
• allow all the roasted ingredients to come at room temp.
Mixture grinding -
• Grind peanuts to coarse , take it out into a bowl.
• then grind sesame, coconut & grind just for a second & take it out into the same bowl.
• add chopped jaggery, roasted besan and mix well
• now grind this mixture into batches, dont not grind too much, we just need to combine everything well.
• out filling is ready , you can store this for a month or without a refrigerator for 3 months in an airtight container.
How to make roll teel poli -
• Take the ready dough, knead it & make big lemon size balls out of it.
• Take 1 ball, dust it into rice flour, make a bowl like shape, fill the filling to the taken dough, close the edges gently.
• Make the dough flat, dust some rice flour onto a rolling pad, initially flatten the dough using fingers, then use a rolling pin and roll the roti, thin & evenly from all sides.
How to roast tilachi poli -
• Apply some oil to the tawa & then turn on the gas flame & heat up the tawa, once tawa is med hot turn the flame to low and put tilachi poli.
• After a few seconds when you see bubbles on the roti, flip the roti, apply some oil, and roast the roti on medium flame from both the sides.
How to store gulpoli recipe -
• Allow all the tilpoli to come at room temp, then you can store them into casserole or container for 7-8 days. It will stay fresh for a week.
