You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "SOS", "Sinful Passion", "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Ave Maria" 2021. Each performance will leave you stunned
well, the singing multiple languages is kind of overstated. It's like, ye, extra work, but it's not something to write home that a dude sings multiple languages. For instance in christian churches people and choirs somethimes still sing latin. Most of em don't know latin, but they still sing. It's like extra work, but it ain't anything crazy. About the vocal control and tone in his different registers, well, yeah, that's something to write home about ^^ aaand, yeah... 8 oktave range... let's keep down to earth and say 6 and a few semitones. I wouldn't count growls as range, especially since for a lot of people they ain't connected to a chest, not even close. if you would call them part of the range, you should say that the average woman has 5 oktaves which is ridicolous... maybe if he exercises his chest fry a bit mlre you can say 7 full oktaves (which still is nuts)
@@whatevs4314 growling? not that hard. Most of its sound comes from post production with an EQ, if you hear a growl used in music without an eQ it doesn't really sound that good. For the high notes? most woman can hit F6es, and a lot of man can. The thing is that most woman will sound like shit on an F6 and that man that will resch it will A) sound like shit, B) have 0 resonance hitting notes if you don't go to 7. or 8. octave we know he hits, ain't that impressive, even if he is a man. Whistle register ain't some msgic only he can use. But the clarity, tone, controll he has on that extreme notes for a male are nuts (even for female singers) for singing multiple languages... well, latin in church when I was younger, I speak no latin, spanish songs, I speak no spanish, french songs.. guess what..my mother tongue is german but I manage to sing in that other voices with my shitty as voice compared to professional singers, but ye, that ain't anything crazy except you are from the US where a ton of people speak only 1 language and never even consider the sound of a language (jk for the US joke, don't take it personal)

Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukrainian SSSR, singer and songwriter in Ukrainian, Honored Artist and music titan in Russia (billionaire). He is a world- famous composer who came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Dimash said also in an interview about the collaboration with Igor Krutoy that it is important to him that the songs are written in such a way that there is room for variations ... so every performance of a song is a surprise and every Dear can choose his favorite presentation... I can not decide.
The lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world, including Lara Fabian)

Dimash and the composer of this song, Igor Krutoy (at the piano), often use archetypes in their music. This epic piece evokes the journey of soul (wandering in ancient times, haunted by memories, and lost loves ) as it finds itself in an expanded state of awareness (new ground, chance to know who I am, begin again). Hesitantly at first, even pretending to stumble a bit, but with growing confidence, Dimash takes us on a journey and with that last refrain, he totally owns this new ground.
Like in many of his arrangements, Dimash incorporates sacred music traditions of different cultures and ages into something uniquely his own. You will get addicted, and I think your life changes too because there's not a human on earth that has POSITIVELY changed more people I than Dimash. Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings.
His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. They have long been known among the people of Kazakhstan and were awarded the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan: ua-cam.com/video/-Hhi1x4LqpE/v-deo.html
According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate in musicology.. We have to call him soon Doctor Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto ( Interview with his voice teacher - ua-cam.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/v-deo.html ) ... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian without accent (second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages, trains his voice for 3 hours every day... but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.

Dimash always wanted to be on stage. As a young boy (3ys), he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run on stage when they bowed at the end, and he would do the same.
In his childhood Dimash trained Taekwondo. A Dear gave him knee pads, but he says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃 Dimash looks good, is one of the 100 most beautiful men in the world and a model coveted around the world.

This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys, Qobyz or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.

The instrument is a traditional ancient instrument called a Kobyz.
The Kobyz (co-biz) or kylkobyz (keel-co-biz) is an ancient Turkic bowed string instrument, spread among Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Bashkirs, and Tatars. The Kyrgyz variant is called the kyl-kyyak. The qobyz has two strings made of horsehair. The resonating cavity is usually covered with goat leather.

You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "SOS", "Sinful Passion", "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Ave Maria" 2021. Each performance will leave you stunned

well, the singing multiple languages is kind of overstated. It's like, ye, extra work, but it's not something to write home that a dude sings multiple languages. For instance in christian churches people and choirs somethimes still sing latin. Most of em don't know latin, but they still sing. It's like extra work, but it ain't anything crazy. About the vocal control and tone in his different registers, well, yeah, that's something to write home about ^^
aaand, yeah... 8 oktave range... let's keep down to earth and say 6 and a few semitones. I wouldn't count growls as range, especially since for a lot of people they ain't connected to a chest, not even close. if you would call them part of the range, you should say that the average woman has 5 oktaves which is ridicolous... maybe if he exercises his chest fry a bit mlre you can say 7 full oktaves (which still is nuts)

@@whatevs4314 growling? not that hard. Most of its sound comes from post production with an EQ, if you hear a growl used in music without an eQ it doesn't really sound that good. For the high notes? most woman can hit F6es, and a lot of man can. The thing is that most woman will sound like shit on an F6 and that man that will resch it will A) sound like shit, B) have 0 resonance
hitting notes if you don't go to 7. or 8. octave we know he hits, ain't that impressive, even if he is a man. Whistle register ain't some msgic only he can use. But the clarity, tone, controll he has on that extreme notes for a male are nuts (even for female singers)
for singing multiple languages... well, latin in church when I was younger, I speak no latin, spanish songs, I speak no spanish, french songs.. guess what..my mother tongue is german but I manage to sing in that other voices with my shitty as voice compared to professional singers, but ye, that ain't anything crazy except you are from the US where a ton of people speak only 1 language and never even consider the sound of a language (jk for the US joke, don't take it personal)
