Considering there are MILLIONS of people whose parents pierced their ears when they were babies and I don't think any of them hold a grudge against their parents for it.... I'd be willing to bet that a solid 80-90% of girls u see with earrings,got them when they were babies. So your outrage is misguided, misworded,and above all wayyyyyyy outdated.

Having ears pierced is such an invasive procedure and no one has the right to decide for anyone else especially one so young and unable to decide for themselves, it causes unnecessary pain and there's a risk of infection plus baby's are always grabbing at stuff so could accidentally rip out the piercing leading to yet more problems, It's purely vanity on the parents behalf, leave the child till they're old enough to decide for themselves, And never get a piercing with a gun as they damage the skin on the ear lobe and they can't be fully cleaned to remove bodily fluids from each person that's been before you, no wonder most people get infections after using the gun so why inflict that on a vulnerable baby who had no choice in the matter, they don't need bling to be beautiful, they already are,
I have never heard of anyone getting an infection from piercing. I have 9 piercings in each ear and have never had an infection. I'm sure it has happened, but you are totally exaggerating..........
