    The window seal I used went out of stock, this is the closest one I could find.

    Thanks for the detailed installation. Does the air con gas not escape from the room through that mesh material?

      Absolutely! Insulation isn't perfect. I do have a layer of foam board in front to stop light predominantly but it helps with the air not escaping a little bit more. Maybe ill make an update on the setup. Thank you!

    Tilt window in a condo a friend stays at opens and tilts from the top. It tilts inwards. Very little opening as this is on the 30th foor. Nothing different from what youre showing here I pressume. Just looking for options on a very small room with a unique window. Thank you.

      Haven't had experience with a vertical tilt window myself, but I'd assume the process would more or less be identical. Goodluck

    How is the sealing holding up? The reviews say the material is pretty weak and prone to degrading. I also have a similar situation but wondering if I should get this seal (cheaper) or go further and try and make a seethrough plastic seal with an opening for the AC

      Honestly, my experience with this has been amazing. I haven't had any issues with rain or wind tearing through or even bugs coming in which was my biggest concern but none of that. The velcro is holding up strong no gaps appear either so I'd highly recommend it.

      Does it not need to direct the outside to ?

    • @MrTechSpective
      @MrTechSpective  Місяць тому

      So one end of the exhaust hose needs to be directed out a window which pushes hot air and some condensate water out. Hope that answers your question
