It’s so premium because it has to be fresh as hell to preserve the nuances that come from its being shaded for a long period of time to prevent sun damage and improve flavour, and because it’s very hard to transport or store for any period of time without it oxidizing and losing said nuances. It sounds like you may have gotten a batch that was oxidized a bit too far or you steeped it at too high a temp - it’s normally steeped at between 60 and 70 degrees Celcius, or as low as 40 degrees C for the good stuff. Personally I’ve tried oxidizing it intentionally with good results and it sounds like that’s what you experienced, but for anyone who hasn’t tried it, good quality gyokuro is a truly amazing tea experience.

Where I live we already have pizza with curry on it available at the pizza places around town. You should try it. It is better than you think, but not something I prefer over a normal pizza.
So, curry pizza is a classic in Sweden. Most common is the curry and banana (ham, tomato sauce and cheese) and I really like it! However it kinda is as controversial as pineapple pizza as it divedes people who like it or hate it and to make things worse some pizzerias have a curry banana and pineapple pizza!

Cool thing, but I'm not enough of a gourmet, and/or don't have enough disposable income, for a box like this. I instead order bulk snacks once I'm sure I love them. Sure, I sacrifice some variety, but it's good noms.
