When I was younger, I realized I was gaining weight but after I listen to this song, I realize that I was insecure, but after hearing this song over and over and finally understanding the message realizing it’s not your body it’s not yourself. It’s no one you just gotta realize that you’re amazing and you’re way and it’s hard to see that, when you finally see it it’s not the boys. It’s not anyone saying ugly. I was never insecure about my bodyweight or how I looked, I was just a normal kid, wanting to play with all the other kids. But idk how those things changed when my so-called "friends" started "joking" around regarding my weight, which they did, very often. It even reached the point when I starved myself, skipped meals and lied to my mom that I have eaten a bunch at school and I was full when I didn't even finish half of my lunchbox.
