Thanks for sharing your equipment, it’s amazing. Old jtm and and parts strat sounds good, you can’t get any better, I can’t tell the difference between the both pedals, I have got the old TS808S , and a TS9 with JHS double gain mod, now that sounds unreal..
The vintage is more organic & creamy with low & mid gain settings compared to re-issue. At Max gain (which is rarely used) the tonal difference isn't as obvious. When played with the backing track, the differences are harder to pick, as the guitar blends in with the mix (as you would expect).
the difference in the tone of that note. If you don't know, you're definitely deaf. The reissue is also overstated in certain ranges. Of course, that can be personality. It's a pity that people misunderstand 'the sweetness of TS-808' as a mid-boosted, narrow sound from Riishu. It originally meant a great background sound like wool and a warm sound that doesn't hurt your ears.

Seen only 1:44 difference is day and night. Vintage hands down.
