Nice review. Thanks. The Dell is a fantastic monitor for the price. I also tried them both, and I think that, for most of the people, the quality of the Dell is amazing. I even think the Dell looks more slick, especially when it’s standing against a wall. Considering the price it’s a no brainer for me. Here in Germany the hight adjustable Studio Display with Nano texture (which the Dell kinda has out of the box) will set you back €2459. The Dell is available online for €460. That’s a 5,3 times difference or € 2000. You can buy a lot of high quality speakers or cameras for that money.
The ASD would look sick with the new M4 Mac mini. Of course, making my decision difficult is the new M4 iMac. 😩 Good overview and comparison. Thanks, Phillip 👍
the new m4 iMacs are pretty nice since its all inclusive. however, if you plan on having multiple monitors etc, or want versatility I think the Mac mini + ASD would be the best way to go. I used to have the M1 iMac
@@EverythingPKW Whether it's a luxury depends on your job, I suppose. I'm a software engineer, staring at text for more than eight hours a day. The reduction in eye strain that the Apple Studio Display provides me with is more than just a luxury to me.

@ThomasVanhelden luxury vs necessity I suppose? The 4k monitor causes you eye strain though?
@@EverythingPKW No, 4K monitors don't cause me eye strain. However, I can feel the difference in eye fatigue after long days or weeks.
@ThomasVanhelden I wonder if it has something to do with True Tone as well if you use that 🤔
