I find bait is designed to attract you more than the fish unless they eat it regularly they dont recognise them as food im in a wheelchair so i fish a lot of course comercial fisheries and target the carp but boilies dont work well i find crum and pellets in pva mesh with a dumbell wafter works for me my bait of choice is MUNCH BAITS *bio marine*
Hi Christopher, I think you’re 100% right on the boilies. I know some venues have boilie only rules and the fish get used to them but in most venues I find boilies do not attract the fish into your swim. Really and truly I only ever crush boilies and mix the dust into my PVA bags with the pellet. I do this to protect the hook point at the bottom of the bag and so there is small food particles in the water column. I’ve used the bio marine when we first started out it’s a very reputable bait 🎣 I don’t know what area you are from but if you have never been to Royal Berkshire fishery I think you would thoroughly enjoy it, I’d say 70% of the fishery is wheelchair accessible and very well stocked lakes for a fun day on the feeder rod. Perch roach F1 small carp bream skimmers you can easily have a 40-60 lbs day in the right conditions. Thank you for watching and I hope you stick around to see what’s to come with the channel 🎣
Get on freezer baits. So much better. I recently run out of essential cell freezer baits and had a bag of shelf life. I forgot how bad they are compared to freezer baits. Not a single fish on them.
@@garylowe8601 Hi Gary, thanks for watching. Do you really think the gap is still that big between the two? I know historically the shelf life bait was so full of crap it was no good but I thought the new baits were all human grade and as good as freezer baits? I have limited experience of using boilies and only ever used shelf life. Maybe we will make a video soon trying freezer baits and see if we can get some bites for the first time using them.
Cheers mate appreciate you watching. we will be switching to the fish meals very soon. Looking forward to trying out the new magic beans the natural one 🫘
I use the same boat I like to hold the rod while I'm sending it out great boat for the price mine never let me down in the past 3 years, also bank tackle love their terminal tackle with no carp tax happy days,as for bait I love to make my own carp and catfish like them both pb's caught on home made Carp 32lb and Cat 58lb
Hi mate thanks for watching and subscribing, I just subscribed to your channel and will watch some vids after work. Yeah cracking little boat I just brought the same one again. This one playing up was my own fault as I dropped the remote in the lake 3 times 😭 bank tackle is great mate 👌🏻 I’d like to have a go at making me own bait but I wouldn’t know where to start, that’s very impressive PBs on home made bait. That must give you that extra bit of satisfaction 💯
Hey fellas what a great video I am one of the ParkerBaits Ambassadors really enjoyed your content!! Looks like a very silty venue going by the amount of trees round it Did you find any Carp before you went in that swim? Looking forward to the next Vlog 👍🏻
Hi Ross, thanks for the kind comment 👊🏻 the venue has silty areas but plenty of gravel spots and the silt isn’t too soft thankfully 😅. No we didn’t try to locate the fish before picking a swim. We have fished this lake over the last year and we never managed to get this swim before. More fish come from this swim than any other so we blindly went with it. I know it’s a rookie mistake 😂 however in the end the other 6 anglers on the lake all blanked but in future we will locate the fish first 🎣
Don’t get caught up in bait guys stick with what your confident in, Parker baits just another company that’s popped up but inferior to the proven brands like mainline and sticky
Hi Barry, thanks for taking the time to watch & comment. Make sure to watch the upload this coming Sunday, I can’t say too much but we will be settling the score once and for all 🎣🎣
