I'm honestly really surprised by the amount of good platform levels we've been getting and it's not even been a week since the update came out. These levels are WAYYY better than early 2.1 ones

8:25 the funny thing here is that you change the stereo madness song with gunslinga un the 2.1 with megahack, and when you uploaded the game to the 2.2 the song just get "impresed" in the files. So basically, the song in that part was needed to be stereo madness 🤓👆

I’m kinda mad platformers can be rated demons as well because you can just spend lots of time doing it which is not skill based while normal mode you need to be ultra skilled to beat an extreme.
Well to be fair it really is skill based. Just like every platformer game you build muscle memory and slowly adapt to it even if ur hitting ur head from rage. I spent an hour and a half beating I wanna be the guy and it was nothing considering the days I’ve spent playing Celeste (also a platformer game).
@@defectumdefectum9642 yes it skill based, but you don’t need reaction time and learning the level, plus you can think about what to do next all the time and take long breaks in the same spot, what I mean is the two modes are just not at all in the same difficulty league as platformers also have checkpoints
@@craftus2249 Well, who said that every platformer demon will have checkpoints? I bet there will be some insane guy who will make extremely hard demon platformer without any checkpoints. Also platformers are not that easy as you think. Try to play I wanna kill the Kamilia games(it's not a gd levels btw). They have tons of checkpoints, but they are so insane that literally only 1% of the whole planet Earth can beat them. Additionally with platformer mode creators don't actually have to make platformers. Remember, that a few 2.1 levels were minigames? With the new mode they can do bullet hells like Touhou project, or semi-3d games . Hell, there would be a full on Doom remake I assure you

Its not that they arent in the same difficulty league, its just straight up that they cant be compared, they are basically two different games. You cant really compare a platformer extreme to a normal extreme.
