Cooler time of year = less boat traffic out there fish are easier to keep alive and no worries of heat strokes lol...I understand though tough to please everybody it's impossible

Fact is those fish are dead . Like it or not there are only so many fish in our lakes . I'm not against tournaments as I fished them when I was younger . Trying to please everyone and not pleasing the fish is where we are failing . We should not fish when it is hot or figure out a way to weigh and release when caught . Reasons why we can't , doesn't keep these dead fish alive . With all of the technology we have it can be done . Past the cost onto the anglers entry fee . We are riding around in a 180,000.00 truck and boat rig the money is there . My opinion, your opinion does not change the fact that fish died due to high temps . Thanks Kay you all have a great trail . Tight lines !

Not trying to stir the pot, but one observation and suggestion would be to monitor the temps at the weigh in line tanks. It was fairly noticeable that the tanks varied in temperature quite a bit. The first couple tanks right after check in were noticeably warmer than the couple closer to the stage. The staging tank on stage was really warm as well. You all run a great circuit and just wanted to share this with you all for future consideration. We used a lot of block ice in our livewells for our limit and were successful in bringing in 5 alive. Hope the post mortality was not too bad. Thank you.
