Version 9 completely juxtaposes Version 8. Variety of colors, regardless of sound, instead of ALL sounds locked on one color. Lots of acapella sounds, and very few robotic sounds. Short bonuses, instead of long ones. A groovy feeling, compared to the desolate and hopeless Dystopia. Even experimental sounds that we have never heard in any other version before! Overall, I feel that this version shows that, because of Lead's actions, the other Polos can now thrive freely, instead of forcefully being jammed into a unitary injustice system.
What I think is that V9 isn’t related to lore, but if I were to believe that it’s related to the lore, then I’d say that because Lead destroyed the pyramid in the end of V8 that instead of the polos being locked into one colour or kind of sound they can just do anything they want and be themselves (basically what you just said) And, this is me being crazy but, what if the robots in V8 were actually trapped polos? You see the robots turn off in the final V8 bonus, and I mean, shouldn’t there have been much more human polos in V8? I only saw that one other had a little bit of control over himself (sunglasses guy) and one had little control (the harmonica sounding one) and the rest were just mindless robots.

Southern Asian/ Indian music. v8: robots. just a hopeless armageddon 💀 v9: THEY DUMP ALL CREATIVE IDEAS, 5 DIFFERENT COULORS AND NEW HAIR STYLES, FUCKING GREAT BONUS, IT PALES INTO COMPARISON TO V6, also some cons: melody 3 is PAIN, 3 basses (even though v3 had like 2 basses), and melody 2 is an effect.
Ever since V8 first released, I'm positive that's what kickstarted the monumental rise in the modding community for this game which I think is fantastic. But I mention this because because of how mods have been released after V8, we've probably been normalized by them hence why V9 feels off, to put it lightly.
This version is sort of like the first plant growing out of the concrete of dystopia imo. It's funky, fresh, and experimental, and it definitely marks the start of a new incredibox era, lol
This reminds me of that scene where SpongeBob has a competition between King Neptune. While the latter of the two is making hundreds of bland patties every second, SpongeBob takes his time, slowly making each burger with delicate care. I bring this scene up as I feel it goes along well with the sheer number of forgettable mods created these days while the team at So Far So Good slowly produces creative and fantastic versions. Not to insult these mods, many of them can be on-par with the official versions, but Wekiddy is so wild and different, while retaining the original style that makes it feel cool and professional. I hope future projects from So Far So Good continue to one-up the last, and future mods of this game embrace the beatbox influences rather than making the same generic dystopia clone. I am not dissatisfied whatsoever with this piece, it is what the community deserves.
This is probably the most unique version the teams of incredibox made and I find it funny the logo of these sounds are just scatter all over the place and there's no fix pattern hey I would like you to see the incredibox veda mod teaser that is in the work you will be pleased.

I feel like wekiddy takes place after dystopia where all the world got freed from the rule of the galactic pyramid empire or whatever and then like the city and its culture and music started recovering and now its all cool gangsta and futuristic and epic now cause all the polos in this version are still kinda futuristic but they're a lot more colorful now. possibly true though cause of the dystopian arcade machine???? Also 6:04 bro really likes a certain part of the female body😭😭😭😭😭
