- Working on my sisters corsa d while she's away. Part 1 is fixing the door that won't open from the outside.

Thank You soooo much! I was looking at several door card - removing / cable -replacing videos to get to the bottom of why my driver's door exterior handle would not open the door. Simply squirted WD40 onto all moving parts, left it for a few mins, then Hey Presto - it works again - no complicated removals and even more complicated putting it back together again. Cheers !!
So glad I could help. I had done the same searched for all these videos and all it needed was a quick spray and it fixed it.

I’m having the exact issue with the front passenger door, WD40’d the lock but no luck, any other ideas? :)
The next thing I was going to check was the wiring as sometimes they can snap and then swap signals. What happens if you manually move that little tab in the door?
It seems to work for me but after a few days I need to put more WD40 on it
Hi I’ve got a Corsa 1.4 Design, my driver door is not opening from inside but I can open it from the outside. Any tips as to how to rectify this issue?
Have you had a look inside the door? Under the door card? Could be a loose wire or something stopping the inside handle from working.
@@jemmawalker8675 yeah I’ve watched a few UA-cam videos explaining what the issue might be, I’m going to try to fix it today or I’ll just take it to a garage thanks
