Yeah thank god for that. Singing just doesnt sound or look natural for her .... by looking at her face, looks like she’s struggling & trying so hard and still sounds less than mediocre. She’s not even cool with the kids anymore.... hence her struggling pop career. She just doesnt have the talent to fall back to. Well shes done really well for herself for what she is. Good for her. Time to enjoy life katy, ur pop star days have come to an end, get marry and have lots of kids katy. Congrats. 🍾🎊🎈

I'm not her fan but i'm must admit that now she evolved and learned how to use her vocals. This part from 14:18 to 14:45 was really beautiful.

There are a few thoughts that I have after watching that video:
1) I think she sang magnificently well! I loved the video and I think she's constantly improving her voice. My highlight is definitely "Roar".
2) Nevertheless, I sometimes have a feeling, that in terms of high notes and belting, she's sometimes trying.. a little too hard so that it might be a bit too much and too exaggerating for some, if that makes sense. If she's sticking to the original tune and not doing any extra belting, that's sometimes the best.
3) Also, as much as I like her backing vocals, I think she sometimes relies a bit too much on them and gets a bit.. I don't know too lazy maybe? to sing all the parts and just lets them sing? You know what I mean?
4) Love her sense of humor and what the benefit concert was all about.

Luke Riley I agree about her relying a bit too much on the backup singers. Katy shines especially on performances where she doesn't move too much, because she seems to run out of breath quickly when there's choreo. So here it was the time for her to go all out, and I'm not saying she did bad, but there were times where it left me wanting more. Those were the moments that were given to the backup singers.
I agree with both of u guys but we cant say we're 100% sure since we're not singers here unless u are and can belt out
Yeah, i would love to hear more of her. But her backup can be overpowering and she hides behind the backup singers voice, especially on the higher parts.
I dont think she’s the best singer around but definitely not as bad as I thought and it sounds like she’s improving. But her tone is very distinctive and unique. Which is important and pleasant to hear.
