If you'd been my history teacher at school I may have learned a thing or two, instead of sitting at the back of the classroom dreaming of Adam Ant. And Sue...what a perfect landing! My goodness! I reckon you missed your calling!! The airshow was great, especially the red arrows with the 747.
Thank you Jenny! But let’s face it, who doesn’t love a bit of history 😀! I always found it fascinating - although for most girls Adam Ant would be more interesting 😂 Sue definitely did a better job than I would have on that landing! 😀👍
Yes small world and a great ending to a very interesting and enjoyable video thank you. We both spontaneously smiled at the scene where Sue was wearing the flight captain’s hat after her practise in the flight simulator...
Adrian, too kind! It was a real pleasure to meet Brian and Sue in Deddington, and Henry Cole's biography A Biker's Life is a great read. He picked himself up from rock bottom to rebuild his life. I just adore your journeys and stops! You are so lucky on the whole with the weather! ! Keep up the good work xxx What do Sues parents think of her being a biker?
Sue Taylor Hi Sue, thanks for your lovely note. My Mum and Dad are 81 and 83 and still think I’m 12 😂 They worry about me and, whilst they trust Bri and are fine with me being pillion, they’d freak if they knew I rode. They don’t do any social media so I’ve never told them I have my own bike. Bri and I spend our visits with them trying not to put our foot in it. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍🏍🏍

Your trip brought back lots of great memories of living in the Cotswolds before moving to Australia. Thank you.
Thanks Graham, glad you liked it and the Cotswolds are beautiful 👍 Oz must be completely different! 😀
Surprisingly similar in so many ways, just much much bigger 😀
Do let me know if you ever think about doing an Aussie trip, I would be happy to help with any planning assistance.
Thanks Graham! 😀😀👍👍
Hi. Just checking out your video of the cotswolds. I'm riding my himalayan from Southampton to burford on 18th May.
Regards*** reggie the rural rider
Hi Reg! Nice trip 👍 Burford is lovely and that’s a decent ride from Southampton - hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching! 😀👍

Thanks Pete! She did a great job for a novice on her first “flight!” 😀👍 By the way, if you haven’t read it, Geoff Hill’s book is excellent! 👍
Let’s all hope for some more trips like this in the months ahead 🤞.
Great video and thanks for posting.
Thanks Andrew! We are desperate to get out and tour again - anywhere! 👍😀
I've read all of Geoff Hill's books, all very entertaining. Didn't happen upon Henry Cole in Bibury? It's his favourite place to stop when out riding!

@@midlifemotorcyclediaries You are forever their child xxx It's superb that they trust your Bri x that is a honour indeed x
Sue Taylor 😀👍x
Thanks Adrian! Geoff Hill is very funny 😂 - I know Henry Cole lives somewhere near Bibury but it was probably too wet for him to venture out!
Brian, many thanks. Cheque's in the post :)
Thanks Geoff!👍
Good story, but mini roundabouts are to be treated as roundabouts. Not making an attempt to traverse clockwise is a serious offence.
Thanks Paul! You make a valid point! 😀👍
