I found one of these in the trash. It didn't have the battery nor the ac adapter, i purchased an ac adapter on amazon, but it arrives in like 2 weeks. Once it arrives i will see if it still works, and see if i may have to buy a new hard drive as well.

i have not tried it. my laptop is very old now also its been over a decade so quite hard to find parts. you can keep it for simple use keeping in mind that most of the tech from that era is kind of obsolete/out-of-market. btw i am using ubuntu on my laptop and so far it is working okay. yes the display is not great but manageable.
Bro can we add 16gb into one slot of this laptop with already running 4 gb with in it. Or it supports only 8 gb Plz update m planning to do so with mine also.
@@cvrajarshi not sure. the laptop spec does not specify that much storage space. i had doubts when i purchased 250gb ssd. was not sure if it would work. 500gb ssd... fingers crossed.

I think so, both 6450b and 6550b are designed in the same way. If you are unsure you should do a bit of research.

You may have to take out the optical disk drive and swap it with hdd or ssd. that is one possibility. but do check the specs and compatibility.

I have W10 on this model and it works just fine, but SSD and at leaast 8GB of ram is needed.

yes it has webcam. but i have put a tape on it.
