      While I wouldn't go about things the way Donovan does I think people are soft and make a big deal out of the phrase "train your wife". Most western women have bad habits for a relationship and those habits need to be "trained" out of them. Also A&P and Destiny's audience is just filled with a bunch of 80%ers that promote complacency and mediocrity.

      @saehisaya Incorrect it isn't contradictory. and also we can't lie here, If a woman likes you, then being possessive/controlling can be seen as a positive thing. But if a guy a woman doesn't really like that much is telling her she can't go to the club then its seen as "toxic" because you're making it harder for her to monkey branch to a better guy.
      When a woman is really in love she will give up for the party life for a "controlling" or "possessive" guy. Why do you think women stay in these "toxic" relationships with these "controlling" and "possessive" guys for so long? It's not because the guy is manipulating them into liking it. It's because they themselves want to be "possessed" by high value men. It's in their nature.

    • @42billybob
      @42billybob Рік тому +42

      Beatings and emotional abuse are presented as punishment or discipline. Or spun as though it's because they feel such passion for their partner that they lose control when they feel betrayed. The victim is made to feel like they're responsible for any given incident of violence by stepping out of line.
      Cheating is just a violation of the terms of the relationship. You can't play that off as "I did that to punish you" if the victim had to figure it out on their own. And the whole obsessively passionate person who can't control their temper narrative falls apart when they direct that passion at someone else. That's why it'll snap a victim out of it better than beatings will. Cheating breaks the bubble abusers keep their victims in.

      The fact of it is a lot of these red pill guys have something they don't like about themselves (too emotional, never take responsibility, etc) and pin it on women to feel better about themselves. Just how feminists take the worst of their behavior and pin it on men.

    • @TheDestineyAngel
      @TheDestineyAngel Рік тому +7

      The reason why he “behaves” in the manner demonstrated in the beginning of the video is due to his trust issues. In his “it gets worse stories”, he demonstrates attempts to trust someone, for it to only end in some form of betrayal (ie cheating or lying) and then people like you tell him to hold himself accountable instead of the party that wronged him. Your undermining his struggle to find a partner and misguide him into becoming a paranoid control freak.
      Your comment lacks compassion. You fail to see things from his point of view and claim his victimhood is ironic. Instead of focusing entirely on the man, you should acknowledge that woman innately have the ability to make decisions regardless of morality. If his ex decided to do something contrary to his expectation, he shouldn’t be held accountable for someone else’s decisions. Also it’s naturally for him to feel disappointed. So in the most vague sense of the term victim, he felt victimized by someone who deceived him each time he tried to form a honest connection.
      Now how do you suggest he stops being a victim…. Making better dating decisions?…
      (Regardless of his decisions, his partner can do whatever he or she decides independently, otherwise he’ll start micromanaging.)
      Speaking of micromanaging, his behavior in the skits at the beginning weren’t necessarily abusive. Well he acts like the insecure control freak. He’s being dismissive to her in order to minimize chance of feeling like a victim to HER DECISION to either be honest or lie. I personally believe he’s mistaken for trying to micromanage while being dismissive of her, but clearly it’s a DEFENSE MECHANISM to his TRUST ISSUES. And his way of MAKING BETTER DATING DECISIONS so he’s no longer a victim with feelings.

      Pretty sure, not having a choice is abusive. Can't even decide what you want to eat yourself.
      And the double standard. Oh I must train her to not look at or talk to other male. But it's perfectly okay for me to (poorly) flirt with the host or look at other women.
      If your idea of a relationship is close to a jailer and prisoner or slave and master. Everyone else that sane and normal would think you're abusive.

    The whole point that Aba and Preach are trying to show us in all of their videos is to be our own person. To have that discipline to analyze and differentiate the plethora of ideas that we consume on a daily basis. Consume and apply the ideas that makes sense or is in line of your morals. Ideas that you think are gonna help you live life a bit more positively and happily. Regardless of what movement or agenda you're consuming content from. The moment you associate yourself with a group, you might have put yourself in a situation where you have to defend an idea that doesn't really ring true to you just to keep you associated with that group.
    There are three types of people. People who doesn't consume fish because there are bones in it. People who consumes fish with the bones and endure the pain. And people who consumes the fish meat and throws the bones.

I actually stopped breathing watching this, as it took me back. Thanks for reminding me how insane this is from the outside. Inside it feels impossible in a terrifying manner in which you can never keep your eye steady on the moving goal post. So you just become terrified of other men even acknowledging your existence, even if your man isn't around. Cuz you're so well "trained" that you feel guilty in a deep "fight or flight" way. I, however, had the advantage of knowing this kind of personality pattern doesn't get fixed overnight, it takes YEARS of therapy. Minimum. I wasn't going to sacrifice my peace and health I just went to go find someone not so batshit bonkers. I also had the advantage of having been treated respectfully before. I'd been treated with kindness and value before. So he was trying to break me down but my brain said "ok I might be flawed but I'm not thiiis terrible as he's making me out to be".
