For years my family has been battling setback after setback. Two of my toddlers were diagnosed with something I won’t even name, and I refuse to claim any illness for them. Whenever I heard a testimony of breakthrough in church, instead of being filled with hope, joy or faith, I would often fall into a deep depression, asking God when He would come lift my family out of the pit we were in. In times like that, it was this song that reminded me of the God I serve, His power, His promises and through tears I would sing along to this song over and over until I was able to go on again. Today, on 2/02/2021 God has shown that He truly can do all things but fail. He has lead me through the valley of the shadow of death and I’ve come out the other side in victory. May God bless you for being an instrument to reach His people through your music. And if you’re going through anything that seems like there is no end, even if men have written you off and said there’s no hope, no way out; if you have taken you cries to God, because of His mercy and love He will show up for you in ways that only He can. Just hang in there, one more day, one more week even, and your victory is on the other side of your faith, of your praise.
