I bought your amazing DX-7 Arturia bank.
I often switch from vintage to modern velocity mode in the DX-7 plugin. But you make such a masterful use of velocity that switching to modern velocity is meaningless.
I once owned a DX-7.
The preset 'Dist Rock Lead' is such a beautiful preset. Genius at work.

I was with you until you said the Arturia CS80 sounds like a real CS80. I too have used both, the Arturia isn’t even close. Memory Moon ME80 is way closer. Sorry.
You own a vintage CS-80 and bought a plugin? Have you tried the Vangelis Tribute by Nori Ubukata?
Everyone can try the ME80 demo. It sounds like cheap FM synthesis. Sorry.
Arturia, please for the love of God fix the older synths in the collection. The newer modeled instruments really overshadow how tame and dull the older plugins sound. The Jup-8v is in particular in need of an overhaul in terms of oscillators, filters and envelopes. I shouldn't need to add three lanes of velocity in the keyboard section to have the filter be wide open when playing at minimum to maximum velocity. The Prophet-V desperately needs full velocity for features like pitch, filter, amp, etc…Also revamp the effects on the old synths to what the new synths currently have.
Can you tell me what model mic cabinet he uses and what he meant by that? Is he re-mic’ing the synths with the cabinet and some mics?
Obviously he's using a better dac and outboard gear than you would have on a laptop or standard pc. Any idea what he is using?
