Mine is just slightly different I don't use much cream corn and I don't use alot of the water from the corn. Mine is a bit drier I like a less sticky pack I like some of it to break on the surface sometimes it breaks and spreads and creates a good layer on the bottom works great if they are surfacing alot. They seem to follow it down to the bottom to feed. I have casted it right where they have jumped and hooked up maybe a minute later it has happened multiple times. I might add more liquid as the session goes on make it a bit sticker but in the begining loose works great just to get a layer of feed out first.
So the quick oats, verses old fashion oats, have smaller pieces and really allow the packbait to pack extra tight. I stick with Old Fashion Oats, but I will mix it 50-50 with quick oats if I know I have to cast a long way. If you end up only being able to buy quick oats one day, you need to keep it in mind to make sure your packbait is breaking down properly. I also like to add around a 1/2 cup of quick grits as it helps the packbait brake and floats a bit in the water column. Heck, packbait and method mixes is a crazy deep rabbit hole.
Not lieng but this is basic and informative. Cage is snag prone Just get egg.sinkers Carolina bolt rig. Greatly helps hookups they don't feel pressure till they swim and feel lead. Shake head. Boom hooked themselves
I use this exact recipe for my carp fishing as well. Keeps it simple and... it works! the only thing I do different is mix mine inside a gallon zip lock plastic bag. Learned that from Outdoors with Tom. I am hooked on Carp fishing. I am a bass guy 9 out of 10 trips but the carp fishing is so fun. Enjoy the channel so far. Fish on!
Yeah, I watch his channel also. I like using a bucket because I use the side of the bucket to pack the bait down on the method cage. I also have a top for the bucket and it just makes it easier for me. I DO PUT IT IN A ZIPLOC BAG when I freeze it later. I normally stop fishing when I run out of pack bait so I hardly ever freeze it. I appreciate the comment we got new content coming for 2022. More lakes, More species and more of me in the boat
Nice my guy! Just got those cage feeders in the mail today. Got a nice 9'pole and kastking sharky baitrunner bout to get on them carp. Thank for the video. So you keep the leader short for a reason? I'm guessing so it don't tangle up when cast out.?
I wanted to take out the issue with people trying to measure it perfectly, the carp don't care. So I tried to make it easy for them.. EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEAZY!!!!!
You can also put in some vanilla extract to I add jello and vanilla extract and oatmeal and bread crumbs and a can of corn.for the bread crumbs you can make it by grabbing a fresh lofe of bread and throwing it in a blender and you got bread crumbs
i use koolaid powder instead of jello because i can find it in bulk. few times i put too much koolaid powder and my pack bait wouldnt pack, ruined my day of fishing, twice
Yeah the cost of jello is going up crazy.. to be honest, not sure the flavor is needed.. I think just having all the goodies floating around bring them in... I now buy my stuff in bulk, and always have it in the back of my truck for any mishaps
Well done mate. That’s similar to what I use. It really does work. Well explained.
I appreciate it, I am always changing it, but that is my goto!
Straightforward. Great video
Glad it was helpful! This does work!

I will have to consider that, in my recipe you could add more panko and oats, I just hate wasting all that flavor from the juice. I will consider it

Great video! I’m going to make some today. Thanks for keeping it simple.
You are so welcome!
Would you show how to rig a spring cage and method feeder..Thank you...also,great video
I will try, I probably have it in one of my videos, but not really made a video for that, THAT IS A GOOD IDEA!!
This is good information I wondered if you could freeze this type of bait and hadn’t heard that from other recipes thank you
Yep, I freeze my left overs all the time

Yes, I keep it short to keep it from tangling
Making this when I get back in town!
Very easy to make. If you got sweet feed pellets I add those also now!!!
Perfect tutorial. That was easy!
I wanted to take out the issue with people trying to measure it perfectly, the carp don't care. So I tried to make it easy for them.. EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEAZY!!!!!
Making it easy!👍
Thanks, this is my go to, the only thing I do different now is I add in some feed pellets from time to time!!!
You can also put in some vanilla extract to I add jello and vanilla extract and oatmeal and bread crumbs and a can of corn.for the bread crumbs you can make it by grabbing a fresh lofe of bread and throwing it in a blender and you got bread crumbs
I actually put vanilla extract in my feed corn I put on my hair rig. I think I will add some to my pack bait also.. THANKS!!
Great bait
This my go to now, easy and cheap and works!!!
Gonna give this a whirl soon. Buddy is gonna hook me up with a 5 gallon bucket of corn.
This works very well, right now I am now adding pellets!!!
nice prestation
Appreciate it!!
Nice
Thanks, my goals was to make it simple without all this measuring. The carp don't care
Good stuff. Can you keep the bucket out in the open under the high heat?
Yes, the carp won't care if it gets a little funky. I also put a top on it. It will dry out, but you can add lake water!
Not recommended. Need a lid of.sorts. helps from dried out. And keeps others from seeing what your using
Ive been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty. Just playing nice vid buddy
Thanks my car is 20 years old. How much is this warranty?
Does it really take that many different ingredients for Carp?
No it does not, but it surely helps!!!!
Trust me I understand your issue with it, but trust me when I tell you, this will GREATLY help your productivity catching carp.
Does it work on cats as well or do you need to add something else for that ?
I do catch catfish while I am carp fishing!
@@BigMuddyFishingI made something very close to this last week and caught 17 catfish and 0 carp. The cats seem to love it here unfortunately
I call that a good day! LOL@@maaaahike
We pronounce it painco in tx
That is funny! Pain-CO
