this needs more appreciation, the editing and timing with every punch and the switch between younger them and older them, the mirroring of the underground and above ground is just amazing. this is truly a masterpiece

@@jacobzmann Yo! Not sure if you're still paying attention to these comments. But if you are, I got some advice on the beat synching in the video. When the beat starts hitting and you cut in between scenes rapidly, try to make the scenes you are using be of an impactful hit. At 0:47 you ended the rapid cut of scenes with a dodge, and the flow was kind of cut off, whereas an impactful punch by vi would've sent that through the roof. It makes the edit so much more powerful and memorable. Two great examples that I think you could take from, if you wanted, would be these two amv's (ua-cam.com/video/qY7rpWA-D4w/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Sota) and (ua-cam.com/video/YGZLvKAFeYI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Sota). Sota is an amazing editor when it comes to impact. The best example of this is the second link I gave. The impact at 1:20 is so memorable, and is easily why that amv is my favorite. The edit you made was great tho! Don't get discouraged and keep up the grind! I heavily encourage you to keep making more because it's a dope ass hobby in your spare time. Keep killin it champ!

I can try experimenting to find what works relating to what you said. Working on stuff right now just very slowly as i am drowning in uni work. I also agree sota is an amazing editor and some of his work inspired me to try and replicate it in my own ways.

What's the show called
I absolutely love this song, perfectly sums up the vibe of Arcane. This edit is everything.
The scenes in this video still take me back to when I watched Arcane. I felt every moment, and heartbreak for little Powder, and every emotion when she became Jinx and dealt with people wanting her to be on their side.
RIOT - did the most amazing and fantastic work on the Arcane story. This now sits equal to Batman - Killing Joker (Both endings are just amazing)
