- Crowds of protestors have gathered again in the Georgian capital Tbilisi after police broke up a demonstration outside the parliament building.

The protests have brought tens of thousands of people onto the streets in an attempt to stop MPs passing a controversial 'foreign agents' law, which they say mirrors a law used by Russia's President Putin to crack down on opponents and stifle freedom of speech.

The law forces organisations who get most of their money from foreign sources to register, this is the same as laws in the US and across the EU. What is the problem? The only people who would be against it would be those who want to conceal the source of their funding so that they can influence Georgian politics covertly.
