Rohit ji, aapka lecture suna aur gaane bhi bade dhyaan se sune lekin aapki doosari duniya mein jaanewali baat mhasoos nahin hui. Mujhe lagata hai yeh lecture aapka overloaded ho gaya. Sirjee, I believe when the load is more, music ki anand deneki kshamta kuchh kam ho jaati hai. Yeh mera humble submission hai. Technically I am not very expert. I like music because I enjoy it - iss mein dil ko chhoone ki kshamata hai. Aap itna kasht karke hamare liye lectures banate hai use liye dhanyawad.

Naina barbie is the best Melodious song composed by Shri Madan Mohanji. My favourite song is Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho from Hanste zakham by Madan Mohanji.

Absolutely marvellous selection and narration of those mesmerizing melodies of the 1950s and 1960 s -when Hindi film music was ruled by great stalwarts like Madan Mohan and Khayyam . I belong to the generation when I was a teen in those years having had a fill and feel of these songs not as and when I liked --like the current generation --but only through Vivid Bharathi Radio broadcasts when they did . there were days and times when I stopped on the road on my way when these songs were heard over the radio in some tea shops ! Iam a great fan of Madan Mohan and also Khayyam and others too and all the 5 songs are my favourites . I was thrilled when you talked about the song --Tehriye hosh mein aloon --about which I have never seen anyone talking about--and It is one of my all time favourites ever since I heard it first in 1965. I love the song from Mausam too immensely not only for the composition but also because my favourite actor Sanjeev Kumar had acted in it . What a mesmerizing composition is this ! The song from Chitra Gupt also is my favourite and we used to hear them all in those days very often but slowly but unfortunately vanished from memory due to the deluge of the media these days . I wish you had included one from OP Nayyar too who held his own place in hindi film music then .
