- DARKCITY BLOCK 5B SET - TECHNO ACID Jam. @Mr.Tubster
Trying some new stuff, new settings on the mixer. High mids on the equalizer and made a new Kick on the mc909, also practicing some live chords on the MicroKorg.

Fantastic jam with great sounds! 🤩 Btw, what means Block 5B?
Thanks Bro! much appreciated. I was messin around with all kinds of settings to improve the overall sound quality. ended up getting rid of the limiter and other effects in the Acid Music Studio - DAW. So this is a clean recording only using the mc909 compressor and the Behringer equalizer for sound mastering 'BLOCK 5B' Nothing much, just the name I choose for this pattern set. So for the Darkcity sessions I think of different blocks or streets. When I make a pattern on the mc909 I give it a name and copy it a bunch of times, hens the numbers. I give every copy its own variations, so when I play I can easily switch between the varied blocks. Have a good one!
@@straightforwardAcidTechno Ah, I guessed it has something to do with the MC909. 😀 Yeah, when I tried to improve the sound with EQs and compressors in the DAW I always made things worse. LOL So for now I record directly from the TR-8S main outs and throw just Ozone Elements on it to maximize the levels to -14 LUFS. 😁
