    How can 4 people ‘dislike’ this video ? Maybe their ‘TYCO’ trains are the way to go set up on the living room floor ? This video is pretty darn SWEET ! 👽

      Thanks Ian. It's fun to look at Google Earth street view and recreate what it might have looked like 35 years ago.

    Amazing Neil! My friend Vic and I are sitting here on a Saturday afternoon watching your videos and
    Vic said “Boy oh Boy, That is an Incredible Railroad”!
    He wants to see MORE!

    Wonderful work yet again Neil! Every time I see one of your videos, it leaves me itching to get through this decoder conversion and get back to work on the layout! Fortunately, almost there.
    You've set the bar very high!

      Looking forward to seeing some Full Throttle units crossing the high bridge scene your working on. That will make a great video.

      Thanks Neil! I'm really looking forward to that day too. For that matter, I'm looking forward to just *working* on the high bridge scene again.

      I enjoyed watching this video. It is evident you really enjoy operations. Here is how we would have made the same move on the prototype. I would have 904 cut off his train clear of the crossings and enter the siding clearing at least two engine lengths. Then I would have 917 pull high of the siding switch and back down on top of 904. 917 would then cut the rear two motors and pull high of the siding switch and couple back up to his train. After 917 cleared 904 could go back to his train and be on his way. :-) Tim

    That pine tree that is shown at Time-Stamp 2:14 is AMAZING! Your attention to detail(s) is remarkable. For example the Porthole window in the Vega Wagon, the subtle touch of grass growing in a sidewalk; the list goes on.

    Neil, was wondering if you could share some details about the Ethan Allen building. Is that Rix concrete block? What brand windows? And finally, did you use a photo to create the sign like that? Really cool looking. Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent video as always. Question: why is power being exchanged in Orleans rather than Newport or St J.?

    • @NRS8400
      @NRS8400  7 років тому

      Simple reason - St. Johnsbury is represented by staging and Newport hasn't been built.....yet:-). However, power swaps did occur at Barton, VT on occasion to get trains over the ruling grade.
