Not sure if you’ve seen this mentioned else where… but the release date is for this coming winter! So somewhen from Sat, 21 Dec 2024 - Thu, 20 Mar 2025… the lead singer stated this, in a recent interview. My guess would be January sometime, maybe early February.

Right Right. I have seen a lot of people who think it meant late 2025.

Sorry for the multiple posts.....but I have to say that you NAILED it, 100%. They got my attention with Pisces, but honestly, that is my least favorite song from them. I am an old metal head drummer, and it has been many years since I got excited about music. Jinjer brought that back for me. ALL of Jinjer. As a drummer, I was immediately drawn to Vlad. Hell, I can barely air drum to his stuff. Then to find out he is classically trained and he composed 10 of the songs on the last album?!?! AND...he only decided to pick up a pair of drumsticks when a band he was in previously found themselves without a drummer! CRAZY!!! I have been to 2 of their live shows and I plan to see them many many more times!!

"... bleedin' eck ! Hedgy's doin' Jinjer !" Now that I've got over my initial shock, the song is good, solid Jinjer and a cut above the output of many other bands but it's nothing we haven't heard before from them. Having said that. I've just found out that they'll be touring Australia in early February - I'm there ! btw Vintersea have got a new lead girl. Avienne has left - she will be missed. Cheers Hedgy.

You could include the bulging eyes, mouth agape look in your thumbnail just to draw people in then dash their hopes on the rocks. As you said, no shortage of talent on display, but at least in this case, unlike Vintersea, they forgot to include an actual song. And I'm still mourning Avienne leaving Vintersea.
Edit: Three hours ago Vintersea announced their new singer is Kayla Dixon.

re Vintersea, I saw that too Charles. Very pretty girl, let's see what else she brings to the band.

jan/feb 2025? saying winter is just confusing then.

@@PNW Meteorological winter, which is usually what we think of as winter I think, is December, January, and February on this side of the globe. There is also astronomical winter, which is from December 22 to March 21. So if they by winter next year meant in over a year they could just have said December 2025. Shrug :)
Nice review by the way, keep it up!

By "winter 2025", they mean in 2025 and before spring.

OW MY GOD‼️‼️ I WASN'T READY FOR IT‼️ I'M NOT WORTHY ‼️ I figured, when you don't I'll do it. Yes, they're good and I'm happy that I can say that I'm gonna see them for the 6thvtime at Sepulfest. They will be part of the game. That will take place in November in Amsterdam. I missed her beautiful cleans in this one.
Cheers and have a great weekend

I only had Meshuggah in my head listening to this, with that sort of monotonal vocal and the djenty style guitars & drums. More interested in them now after this than when hearing Pisces, but to be honest the hype around them makes me not want to bother.
Side note. One of the drums sounded bad to me and stood out so much, almost St Anger snare level bad
