Why do i get raided with active shield?

Only way that can happen is if:
1) You previously raided someone and they "Revenged" you.
2) Your shield expired without you realizing it.
Typically it's #1.
I prefer to not Raid at all and after 6 days I automatically get free 24-hour shields.
New changes coming to PVP in a few weeks that will improve it substantially.
