Water exerts point43 lbs per sq in per foot of vertical column in a pipe. So if my static water level is 40 ft down it is going to take 17.2 lbs of pressure to bring water to the top of a pipe. So about 20 lbs per sq in to bring it out of a pipe at the top of the well. Then the cubic ft of air pumped will determine the flow rate. Do I have that right?
Hello friend freetvnow excuse my bad English. Could you tell me all there is to enter your pump in water to work properly? Few meters into the water is your well? I'm from Spain, I love texas. Thanks for everything.
If I understood correctly, the bottom of your well is at 68' from the ground grade...How deep is the top surface of the water in your well? What is the power consumption of your air-pump? Excellent video! Thanks!
Sir I'm George Ignatius Dcosta from dubai .sir plz can u help me . Whit some questions ?? Thank you so much for the video. I'm not sure which videos are linked together, so might have already addressed this. Can a Trompe hammer pump (a type of ram pump) generate the needed air volume and air pressure to run the pump? If so, there is a facebook discussion here about the approach - please join in if interested: facebook.com/groups/240458583255303/permalink/529284057706086/

What fitting did you use to connect the compressed air hose to the 2 inch PVC?

It's about 22 feet
Looks like it works great!
Hi there. Is it just an elbow that is screwed into the side of the pipe for the air to enter the pump?
