I relate to Bridgette so much in this video and helped me so much to understand what I need to do with my own mom. My parents have always taught me a way of living and being but these last two years have shown me a different side to my mom and father I have never wanted to see. It hurts me to see the pain she’s been through cause I relate so much. I recently just moved into my grandparents house with my twin sister and it’s genuinely a beautiful transition. It’s just hard to move on from my normal routines and life when I feel like it’s been a lie this whole time. I’m 19 turning 20 in November, but I know that these struggles and obstacles my life has constantly brought me, is helping me to be a better person. I’ve watched you guys for a couple years now and have loved every single video so much just because of how genuine you two seem. I love your family and your journey, thank you for just being you guys. ❤️❤️

Everyone’s true feelings come out when they’re drunk. Bridgette it’s ok still be angry with your father AND to forgive him at the same time. Growing up with a POS dad I had to learn from my experience with him that I would one day grow up to be mature enough to just except what I couldn’t change. Your very mature to take that step of forgiveness, it brings you closer to closure, whether it’s with your dad or not with him.
