Basically, it happens every day that lawyers get a conviction thanks to the testimony of convicted felons. Here Cohen is only confirming what other witnesses said about Trump and what documents proved. But what is important to remember here is that the lies Cohen said were at Trump's requests. We can doubt this but strangely, they were protecting Trump. There was a post from Trump saying "they try to flip Cohen but he is loyal". If Trump is innocent, "flipping" is not the right word. The other lie was when Trump's weaponized DOJ forced Cohen to plead guilty because he wanted to publish a memoir or they would go after his wife for tax fraud. So he did and retracted himself. But, it is interesting to see that anybody against Trump has been accused of tax fraud. I think Trump thinks everybody is a tax fraudster.
