Our skin care routine is almost identical, Dr dray definitely got me onto cerave products and I couldn’t be more thankful for her, so happy you saw the results you deserved!
well Dr Dray also introduced Differin to me and I’ve been using it alongside Benzoyl Peroxide 5 nights a week for almost a year now and my skin has never been better, my hyperpigmentation is almost completely gone and I barely break out only when I miss a few nights of my routine I notice the pimples come out. I’ve also been using the Rohto Arbutin whitening lotion from Hada Labo that she reviewed every morning and night right after cleansing and this also has made a huge difference to the red scars, immediately brightens my skin I’m in love I don’t think I can live without either of these products!

I'm so glad you included your body acne routine because I tend to have acne on my back, shoulders, and chest but I've never seen a video where they talk about body acne and how to treat it. SO THANK YOU FOR THIS I APPRECIATE IT and I will buy the products for it.

I really don't care for all that fancy stuff in the sephora stores anymore..loaded with fragrance and claims and promises they can't keep! I am so thankful for Dr. Drays channel! She opened my eyes 🤩 highly recommend watching her videos!
I LOVE Dr.Dray and her channel! She had changed my skin for the better and she is what inspired me to wear sunscreen everyday!! I can’t believe how much money I used to spend on products from Sephora and ulta that never worked! I even have a Clarisonic from a few years ago😖 I recently tried the CeraVe healing ointment instead of Vaseline and I highly recommend it! I can see why Dr.Dray loves it so much! It melts into the lips and is so hydrating! If you run out of Vaseline, definitely consider the healing ointment!

With CeraVe I have a new favorite and I'd love to try the healing ointment, but since I live in Germany I have a hard time to get my hands on it. In Germany you can't buy CeraVe in the drugstores. Some of their products are available in our pharmacys, but unfortunately not all of them. 😕

I switched to cerave a bit ago and loveeeee them. My skin has smoothed out, my dryness went away, my black heads are gone. I love their healing ointment as an overnight “mask” if you will.
Here’s some tips for your skin: Dry: ceraVe (doesn’t have fragrance and it’s hyram approved) body lotion (helps a lot) also have a moisturizer! It makes you glow. Normal: not a lot of lotion but when you use body lotion use ceraVe:) helps a lot! If your going to use another product with ceraVe that has fragrance don’t, change it. Causes break outs. Oily: don’t use a lot of body lotion (but a little per arm and leg and stomach) on your face use a moisturizer trust me it sounds bad but it helps it hydrates your face and takes all the oil off your skin. Wash your face twice a day !!
I actually use the hydrating bar from cerave first, it's unlike any bar cleanser on the market, and then I go in with the acne cleanser from cerave. In the morning I just use the hydrating bar.
I been using the cerave acne cream cleanser for 3 weeks and I haven't broke out , it doesn't strip the skin and my face feels soft and hydrated. I also have sensitive combo skin. I highly recommend this one too
I started using Cerave with the SA renewing cleaner and the hydrating cleansing bar. I have become it's fan since then. Thanks for reviewing it's products.

Hello! First of all, Incredible routine! Well organized and really like how simplistic it is☺️i do have a question though. So after you first cleanse at night, you then go with The SA cleanser? If So, how often a week do you use The Sa cleanser? Did you incorporate it gradually? I have pretty good skin, But i definitely have dark spots around my oily areas. Thank you!! I do my first cleanse with the ponds cold cream and wipe that off with a wet warm washcloth. After that I use my cerave foaming facial cleanser and then my SA cleanser if I use it that night! Hopefully this helps! ❤️❤️
i found that the foaming facial cleanser dried my skin out real bad, but i’m so glad it works for you! i’ve switched to la roche posay effaclar with my cerave in the tub and i loooove it.

I have an “anti-acne” pillowcase that I really like! Sometimes I do splash my face with water in the am if it’s feeling oily! It helps make me feel refreshed lol
I am using a sample of moisturing Cream from Cerave. Its thick but it was absorbed quickly. I am not sure if I am hydrated since when I touched my face its kinda dry. I already reapplied it with water underneath. It didn't offer the plumped feeling. The fine lines below my eyes remain the same. My skin had less redness after the usage tho. Was this what u are experiencing?
I kind of get what you’re saying! It has an odd texture once it’s on the skin and doesn’t feel super super hydrating to me! That’s why I like to put it on over my lotion if I use it! I feel like it still hydrated me enough without making my face look like an oil slick! But I agree with the not getting a plumped look and still having lines under the eyes! It didn’t really help either of those things for me either. However it still gets rid of dryness on my face and feels soothing!

despairingleonardo honestly, CeraVe is the best out of all the creams I’ve tried so far! I would use your sample completely up before you purchase it to make sure your skin keeps reacting well to it! I’ve tried the equate version of the ceraphil cream and it leaves somewhat of a greasy feeling on my skin. The vanicream cream was great on my body and soaks in well but it broke my face out after using it for a few days in a row (most creams tend to do this too me if I use them too frequently, I guess they’re too occlusive for my face)! But so far I like CeraVe the best!
I don't use face wash in the morning either. My dermatologist told me to just rinse my face with water and pat dry with a towel so that's what I do. :)

I got a big tub of it and was thinking about how it would be better with a pump 😂😂 They do have some products here but the range is much smaller than america. I haven't seen any of their sunscreens here, or SA products (except a foot cream). I hope they bring more of their range over soon too.

i just started using cerave too, in the past month, and the eucerin advanced cream and lotions, alternating like you do. we are learning to listen to our skin and it's working. i found the cerave ointment to be a good alternative to vaseline, and found the two-fer so i have one in my purse and one in my nightime routine kit. your skin looks great btw. last june i started cleaning up my gut health and i really feel it's helped my skin, hair and nails as well as my mood and focus. seems everything important starts there, and leaky gut = leaky brain. just using good stuff on the outside wasn't enough. dr vincent pedre's book 'happy gut' i bought on amazon and i stick to most of the supplements because i didn't realize, until i stopped using them, that they do indeed make a difference inside and out.
I love the cerave healing ointment! I’ve recently started using it instead of Vaseline on my lips at night. I agree about gut health effecting the skin! I need to work on cleaning my gut health up. I’ve tried taking different probiotics and eating probiotic rich foods (kimchi and sauerkraut) but I feel like I haven’t ever done enough to see a big difference. I’m glad you’ve found things that are working for you!! ❤️
hey! I just started watching but cerave has an AM "moisturizer" which is made up of a ton of sunscreen! Also cerave has sunscreen products as well (sunbum is awesome just thought it would help)!
I’ve been wanting to try the CeraVe am!! I used it several years ago before CeraVe was bought by L’Oréal and I think the formula has changed a little! I need to pick it up soon! As for other CeraVe sunscreens, I really like the formula of their new tinted one but the untinted ones didn’t work out so well for me sadly! I just tried one out in my last video!! Also,amlactin is a very good lotion for your skin and face. Especially if you have any sort of eczema. It does tend to burn if you put it on open wounds but it is very good!!
Foaming facial cleanser! I’ve been using the SA cleanser air more lately and I’m getting air more texture each time I use it so my thoughts on it have definitely changed! Will do a video talking about the SA one soon!

I have more oily skin so if I used the cream every day I feel like it would be too heavy! I only like to use it if I’ve used acne treatments and my face is feeling a bit dry! The lotion is usually plenty enough moisture for my skin!

Okay so I rinse my cleanser off and then apply the moisturizer to my damp skin! That way it holds moisture in better! The moisturizing cream is a lot thicker than the lotion!

I usually use the foaming cleanser and then the BP cleanser! Sometimes In the morning I will just use the BP cleanser or the SA cleanser if I take a shower!
Great video, I love Cerave products too. You should talk to your dermatologist about using tretinoin, it’s amazing for acne and also the best anti aging. 🦋💗
I have been on adapalene and tretinoin from my derm before! They were a bit harsh on my skin and I used each one for a year with little results with each☹️ We decided to try birth control instead and it has helped quite a bit so far but I would like to try tretinoin again in the future for anti-aging! A few weeks ago I started using the cerave resurfacing retinol serum and I like it so far and I’m not experiencing any dryness or irritation from it!

Hello! First of all, Incredible routine! Well organized and really like how simplistic it is☺️i do have a question though. So after you first cleanse at night, you then go with The SA cleanser? If So, how often a week do you use The Sa cleanser? Did you incorporate it gradually? I have pretty good skin, But i definitely have dark spots around my oily areas. That is Why i am interested in that cleanser. Thanks and much love💓
Thank you!! I do my first cleanse with the ponds cold cream and wipe that off with a wet warm washcloth. After that I use my cerave foaming facial cleanser and then my SA cleanser if I use it that night! Hopefully this helps! ❤️❤️
i found that the foaming facial cleanser dried my skin out real bad, but i’m so glad it works for you! i’ve switched to la roche posay effaclar with my cerave in the tub and i loooove it.
My mom said the same thing about the foaming facial cleanser! I wonder if the hydrating one would work better for you? I’m glad you found one that works well for you!! CeraVe in the tub is AMAZING!!

I would say it’s a bit more lathery instead of a thin foam!
I would recommend a silk pillow so there is no bacteria on your face in the morning. Also you could just wash your face in the morning with water
I have an “anti-acne” pillowcase that I really like! Sometimes I do splash my face with water in the am if it’s feeling oily! It helps make me feel refreshed lol

I am using a sample of moisturing Cream from Cerave. Its thick but it was absorbed quickly. I am not sure if I am hydrated since when I touched my face its kinda dry. I already reapplied it with water underneath. It didn't offer the plumped feeling. The fine lines below my eyes remain the same. My skin had less redness after the usage tho. Was this what u are experiencing?
I kind of get what you’re saying! It has an odd texture once it’s on the skin and doesn’t feel super super hydrating to me! That’s why I like to put it on over my lotion if I use it! I feel like it still hydrated me enough without making my face look like an oil slick! But I agree with the not getting a plumped look and still having lines under the eyes! It didn’t really help either of those things for me either. However it still gets rid of dryness on my face and feels soothing!

despairingleonardo honestly, CeraVe is the best out of all the creams I’ve tried so far! I would use your sample completely up before you purchase it to make sure your skin keeps reacting well to it! I’ve tried the equate version of the ceraphil cream and it leaves somewhat of a greasy feeling on my skin. The vanicream cream was great on my body and soaks in well but it broke my face out after using it for a few days in a row (most creams tend to do this too me if I use them too frequently, I guess they’re too occlusive for my face)! But so far I like CeraVe the best!

I don't use face wash in the morning either. My dermatologist told me to just rinse my face with water and pat dry with a towel so that's what I do. :)

You need to emulsify the ponds cleanser with water first so you don't need the cloth. Just rinse it off with water before your second cleanser
It doesn’t really emulsify well in my opinion! I would like to not use the washcloth to take it off but I feel like it doesn’t come off well without it!

I like and use both! The foaming for everyday and the SA cleanser for a few days a week to help keep my acne under control!

I’m loving all fragrance free products at the moment. I wonder if your shampoo or conditioner can be causing breakouts on shoulders and back. I have shampoo and conditioner that are fragrance free also.
I think my shampoo and conditioner definitely make a difference on my shoulders and back! I notice with some I break out more and others not as much! I just haven’t found one that I like for my hair that I don’t notice extra breakouts from sadly! Do you have any recommendations?

i just started using cerave too, in the past month, and the eucerin advanced cream and lotions, alternating like you do. we are learning to listen to our skin and it's working. i found the cerave ointment to be a good alternative to vaseline, and found the two-fer so i have one in my purse and one in my nightime routine kit. your skin looks great btw. last june i started cleaning up my gut health and i really feel it's helped my skin, hair and nails as well as my mood and focus. seems everything important starts there, and leaky gut = leaky brain. just using good stuff on the outside wasn't enough. dr vincent pedre's book 'happy gut' i bought on amazon and i stick to most of the supplements because i didn't realize, until i stopped using them, that they do indeed make a difference inside and out.
I love the cerave healing ointment! I’ve recently started using it instead of Vaseline on my lips at night. I agree about gut health effecting the skin! I need to work on cleaning my gut health up. I’ve tried taking different probiotics and eating probiotic rich foods (kimchi and sauerkraut) but I feel like I haven’t ever done enough to see a big difference. I’m glad you’ve found things that are working for you!! ❤️

hey! I just started watching but cerave has an AM "moisturizer" which is made up of a ton of sunscreen! Also cerave has sunscreen products as well (sunbum is awesome just thought it would help)!
I’ve been wanting to try the CeraVe am!! I used it several years ago before CeraVe was bought by L’Oréal and I think the formula has changed a little! I need to pick it up soon! As for other CeraVe sunscreens, I really like the formula of their new tinted one but the untinted ones didn’t work out so well for me sadly! I just tried one out in my last video!! Also,amlactin is a very good lotion for your skin and face. Especially if you have any sort of eczema. It does tend to burn if you put it on open wounds but it is very good!!

Foaming facial cleanser! I’ve been using the SA cleanser air more lately and I’m getting air more texture each time I use it so my thoughts on it have definitely changed! Will do a video talking about the SA one soon!

I would get the cerave foaming facial cleanser! It’s a great all in one cleanser and you can always do a serum or retinol afterward!

Why don’t you use the “moisturizing cream” on its own? Is it cuz you like the lotion more? If so why?
I have more oily skin so if I used the cream every day I feel like it would be too heavy! I only like to use it if I’ve used acne treatments and my face is feeling a bit dry! The lotion is usually plenty enough moisture for my skin!

Okay so I rinse my cleanser off and then apply the moisturizer to my damp skin! That way it holds moisture in better! The moisturizing cream is a lot thicker than the lotion!

I usually use the foaming cleanser and then the BP cleanser! Sometimes In the morning I will just use the BP cleanser or the SA cleanser if I take a shower!

Great video, I love Cerave products too. You should talk to your dermatologist about using tretinoin, it’s amazing for acne and also the best anti aging. 🦋💗
I have been on adapalene and tretinoin from my derm before! They were a bit harsh on my skin and I used each one for a year with little results with each☹️ We decided to try birth control instead and it has helped quite a bit so far but I would like to try tretinoin again in the future for anti-aging! A few weeks ago I started using the cerave resurfacing retinol serum and I like it so far and I’m not experiencing any dryness or irritation from it!
Sarahhh Beth I’m a teen but my Indian skin loves Hyperpigmetation, do you think the retinol serum is good? I’m scared of breaking out and don’t really use CeraVe products besides their PM moisturizer. Thank you for the amazing review btw :))
