subbed, please make alot of ele pvp videos there are no good youtubers for wotlk ele! i wanna make one after getting heirlooms but i wanna watch you bro
I’m trying to get my Ele sham down what are you looking at for haste and spell pen amount? I feel like I have a big wind up for my spells, since most of the gear doesn’t have haste.
spellpen is entirely personal preference and also comp dependant, there was some r1 eles in 2s and 3s last season, using not more than 35 spellpen enchant from cloak and using resil/stam gems instead, but they said its also up to everyones personal preference (also, they were playing with locks). I would not use more than 130 spellpen tho, that will help against shamans placing nature resist totem (mostly in 3s or 5s) and palas using fire aura etc. With low spellpen mages will be a pain cause they resist alot of damage/hex and shear interrupts also due to mage armor resistance. For me personally i mostly run with a middle ground, just 75 spellpen, enough to purge the druid buff off and enough that it doesnt feel completly aids vs mages or palas with aura (but i also consider going 130 spellpen cap as ele sham, if there is too many people using fire aura etc.) It also depends on ur comp alot, if you play with a warlock you wont rly need the spellpen that much cause he should have curse of elements up, reducing everyones magic resistance by a ton (druids can decurse that tho, hence 75 to also purge druids reliably), if you would play ele/hpal in 2s you should probly aim towards the 130 cap for fire aura and for bgs its again personal preference, it depends how much mages bother you rly as for the wind up and haste, that is true, in these early season its harder for eles to have a smooth, really fast gameplay outside of bloodlust/heroism windows... you could try shocking glyph, instead of lava or wrath totem glyph, i really like it in these early seasons, allthough thats again just a personal preference probably, but you could try if it feels better it will give u more globals to play and faster burst after shock, the more haste you get, the less useful shocking glyph will get tho i think this season you should aim for 10%+ haste to have a smooth gameplay, but thats just an ambitious goal atm cause u also shouldnt go below 1k resil imo and you need really good gear to obtain both at the same time. On my ele shamans im playing with 200-300 haste atm (thats not even 10%) and with shocking glyph it feels allright (take the shocking glyph advise with a bit of grain of salt tho, as lava glyph and thunder glyph should maybe be better, its just a thing i also prefer personally, cause the slow gameplay atm with low haste feels a bit unfun otherwise) i don't remember where its from but someone linked me a possible bis-list that looks nice: eightyupgrades.com/set/2DGgQzHHbRn412RTr5Wkiz with such 252 hm pumper gear and the trinket we would have less issues i guess, but its not easy to obtain atm, these stats are like the final goal for S6 and Mp5 is also not unimportant in 3v3
huh? i uploaded this video here more than 10 days ago, when arena season wasnt out yet on live servers, so i uploaded the last beta arena footage i had left :d if you check my newest upload its from live servers ^^
I only watched about half of your video, but I noticed a lack of death knights, considering they are like 40% of the population right now….it makes me wonder. Is it because they are game breakingly overpowered and unkillable? I play Ele Sham too and it’s about got me ready to quit playing wrath. The entire first part of the fight is them using cooldowns that make them take no damage, and the second half is them making you not able to do literally anything to hurt them…and them healing themselves more than resto spec healers in between… I quit playing WoW originally when Death Knights were released, and it seems to be worse now than what I remember.
at the time we were playing this, deathknights were actually hard bugged on the beta and whenever they were trying to heal themselves, they actually killed themselves, my rog also joked about it, that it should stay like this in classic LMAO, but ye this is the reason we faced none(cuz noone wanted to play them) and unholy dk would also be the bane of our comp so we got lucky imo i disagree that dks are worse than on original wrath tho, in 3.3.5 they are manageable(in arena not 1v1), allthough i agree that its still very cancer for ele sham.. Best bet is to abuse a pillar and positioning alot and just focus on surviving gargoyle, after that its fine. Well in 1v1s Unholy DK open field is unbeatable but in arena you can play with a lock or mage to have a decent shot of beating them OR play with a healer to actually hardcounter them and make them hate their life (in S5 maybe not priest cause of mana but Hpal) E: i just saw on your channel that you used to play alot of rsham, trust me on this: play with a prot paladin or feral as rsham and you will LOVE facing DKs haha(you will hate mage rogue tho, there is always some counter), don't give up bro, wotlk is still a ton of fun and 3.3.5 way more balanced than 3.0
Great content. Nice to see Ele shammies doing something :) Thought they were awful in pre-patch with the talent rework on Elemental Mastery. What talent build was this btw? you take surprisingly little damage.
just a standard ele pvp build: www.wowhead.com/wotlk/talent-calc/shaman/0533051503213051322331351-023032001_001xt211p4y21p4j31sws41rp951rpf But yea, ele shamans were kinda gimped in prepatch, no lava burst, no stoneclaw totem glyph, those are both rly big deals for ele shams Stoneclaw glyph gives a 4k+ shield on low cd thats the reason we are much more tankier now
@@Razoonx Brill thanks man. Really regretting doing my DK to 80 first now, pretty boring, sucked in by almost god mode pvp blood spec in prepatch. Back to levelling I go ha
mp5 savage set 2x set and 2x crit savage set rest pvp offparts and kirin tor ring weapons and relic also pvp but i recommend venture bay relic for live servers
ele remains strong in all brackets through all seasons, allthough the crits are not going to be this crazy as here (alrdy in s5 when people have full deadly gear, unlike on beta. rogue is also going to fall off due to this)
