Hey! I tried this this morning on my DX7 V and it sounds GREAT! Much more clarity and power. I don't know your name but please continue to post videos on how to create or improve existing DX7 V patches. Since I bought the program I learned so much from you on this classic and wonderful piece of gear. I wanted a DX 7 in the late 80s but the price tag was just too steep for me then. When I found that could get a software model for 1/10th the cost I just had to grab it and thanks to you I found a great place to learn not only about the new software version but about the classic hardware version and FM synthesis in general. I'm really hoping you could tell me if it's possible to improve on the ROM 15A (?) Bass sound. I love that sound, but it's kind of a letdown on the DX7 V. I think it could use more punch. I use the full velocity and add some reverb and that makes it better, but you could probably make it 10 times punchier than what is originally programmed. Thanks so much!
No. So far I just have the DX7 V, but I'm quite sure the rest are great as well. I've always had particular interest in the DX7. I wanted so much in the late 80s to buy a DX7IIFD but at the time, with a wife and kid to support, $2000.00 was way out of my price range.
Arturia DX7 V users ...Watch it ! Hat off once again for these great visual & vocal tutorials which will tremendously help users to program FM synthesis... Keep sharing you passion & talents through these ! ;-))
Hi Synth Colors, thanks for your thumb up. My life has been hectic and I've been sick so, I haven't been able to post more videos lately. I'm hoping to get back to posting more soon. Cheers, Power DX7.
This series is great
