From the same village and my swahili teacher, she is not adding any salt, this was the exact situation. Rejection was high when she needed a shoulder to lean on. The funny thing with her, she never seemed worried with all the mucene and drama in the village. An iron lady indeed.
She helped me get an admission to join my former high school and i used to be positive that she is a woman with a golden heart. Blessings teacher.

I really love listening to Wakiama. Her story of patience and perseverance is one to admire. However, a woman who was abandoned or chased away by the husband may not be able to honour her vows however much she wishes to, and it would be unfair to expect her to turn down a viable relationship while waiting indefinitely for the errant husband to change. Also, a woman who experiences any kind of obvious abuse and betrayal should not be burdened by society to keep attending family meetings to work on their marriage. She should be allowed and even advised to move on especially if the abuse is recurrent. The same for a man in an abusive relationship. Family meetings never solve the problem that the two adults could not solve on their own. Meetings only perpetuate the problems. Let the couple go for therapy, if that fails let them inform the larger family that they have failed and wish to exit the failed relationship.

So, your to sum up the biggest lesson is pick a verse in the Bible. Allow your spouse to use and abuse you as much as he can and ss ling as possible. Then wait for him to get a strong or some other debilitating disease for you to Nurse him till death so that you can go to heaven? That's how it appears and l hope the youngsters in marriage are wise enough to get out of an abusive marriage when love is gone and find another verse in the good book that says immorality,abandonment and sexual immorality are reasons why you ought to. You stayed for your own gratification. By the way women too get strokes and it's not because they have abused their partners. It's because the body has malfunctioned.
