My mother-in-law made a table runner for me many years ago. I was young and newly married. She taught ma the basics, but I never became a first class hooker. However, when she gave me this runner, its beauty captured me. I asked her to teach this. She looked at me for a few, "long" seconds and replied "no, it is too difficult for you to do".
I did understand it and accepted it.
In my later years I took up crochet again and since have learned a lot. Once I found the pattern and made a single row of daisies as a tiebacks for my thin white curtains and it looked stunning. Tiebacks were white.
Now I want to try and make daisiechain bottom of a linen blouse. Great to have found the pattern. Thank you very much. 😊
